Stuart was a lab assistant working for the FBI in the science lab. He was killed in his apartment due to his involvement with a mysterious tattoo.

Stuart was best known for the lab assistant who updated Patterson's lab computers without running an analysis before doing so.

Stuart was murdered by Director Eleanor Hirst, by exsanguination in his apartment due to a profound cut on his throat.
Days before his death, Stuart showed great interest in a particular new tattoo on Jane's body that had been bothering him for a while, unable to crack its code. Despite Patterson's orders, Stuart kept digging on the ink and using the lab's resources to find an answer.
Molecule tattoo constantly studied by Stuart.
When he managed to get close to the tattoo's meaning, Stuart called Director Hirst to let her know about his discovery. Aware that Stuart became a liability, she killed him in cold blood to protect her cover.
